Being a pirate, Zoro has also become very infamous and acquired many big bounties. After the conclusion of the Wano arc, Zoro received yet another massive bounty that finally put him in the billions, however, he still hasn’t peaked as a fighter. There is still a lot of development that he has to go through and that only means he has more potential for further growth. Although Zoro’s bounty is already very high, it can get even higher after the events of the Egghead Island arc are finally over.

Zoro’s Current Bounty – 1,111,000,000 Berries

Zoro was incredibly impressive in the Wano arc and fans got to see him fight against some of the strongest people in the country. In the Raid of Onigashima, Zoro first clashed against Kaido and successfully managed to scar him across the chest. Zoro was then defeated by the Yonko, however, he was saved by a secret Mink drug which brought back his powers and allowed him to fight against King, the strongest of the All Stars of the Beast Pirates. Zoro versus King was certainly an impressive fight where he learned to tap into the true potential of his powers and, at the same time, mastered Enma as well.

This fight was nothing short of extraordinary for the fans and it ended with Zoro claiming his victory. Even though this fight put Zoro on death’s door, it wasn’t enough to kill him and, as he recovered, it only meant that Zoro would now be more infamous than ever before. That is precisely what ended up happening as he received a massive bounty towards the end of the Wano arc. Prior to this, Zoro had a bounty of 320 million berries, which was the fourth highest in the crew.

After the events of Wano, his bounty shot up to being the second highest in the crew and finally passed the billion beri mark. Zoro’s current bounty is 1.111 billion berries, which is staggering, to say the least. It is higher than some of the most impressive bounties that fans know in One Piece, and, at the same time, there is more potential for this figure to go even higher.

Why Zoro Will Get A New Bounty After Egghead

Roronoa Zoro in One Piece

On Egghead Island, Zoro has already achieved quite a lot that will eventually play into increasing his bounty even more. The first thing that fans must keep in mind is the fact that bounties don’t simply increase because the character gets stronger. They increase if the character gets more notorious and the World Government realizes that they are now a bigger threat than they were before. This is precisely why the Egghead Island arc is perfect for any bounty increase that will come the way of the Straw Hat Pirates. The Straw Hat Pirates are currently fighting directly against the World Government.

Zoro’s left eye could reveal his next power up in One Piece.

The crew is currently up against a fleet of 100 ships, which also includes 30 large battleships. On these 30 battleships are nine Vice Admirals, and an Admiral in Kizaru, and, of course, even one of the Five Elders, Saint Saturn. These are unprecedented forces that simply cannot be taken on by the crew all by themselves, unless, the Straw Hat Pirates somehow pull off a miracle here. And, if that were to happen, then it is an absolute given that the entire crew will receive new bounties as well. Zoro is no different in that regard and fans know that he will end up receiving a new bounty as well if they end up defeating the Marines in this arc. With that being clarified, fans can now look at what Zoro has achieved in this arc and what he could achieve as the story progresses.

Zoro’s Achievements On Egghead Island

As soon as the Straw Hat Pirates arrived on Egghead Island, Zoro was wary of any threat that the crew might face. He stayed behind to guard the ship and successfully guarded it against a member of the CP0 in Kaku. The two ended a short scuffle which Zoro clearly managed to win. Shortly afterwards, Zoro was able to hold his own against other enemies that he came across on Egghead Island. While Zoro’s first fight on Egghead came against Kaku himself, this skirmish was surely short-lived and only the beginning of many fights to follow. He then faced bigger foes, such as the Seraphims on Egghead, who, at this point, were against the Straw Hat Pirates. Specifically, Zoro had Seraphims S-Hawk and S-Bear in front of him and, given that the former is a clone of Dracule Mihawk, it was easy for the fans to know which one he would attack.

Zoro teamed up with Kaku against S-Hawk and these two combined all their forces to combat this monstrosity of a creation by Vegapunk. It is unknown how this fight went, however, from what fans know, none of Zoro’s attacks did any lasting damage to this Seraphim, and Zoro then decided to chase it down when it started hunting down the weaker members of the crew. At the end of it all, the Seraphims were somehow captured and fans do not know what exactly happened.

Zoro then continued to fight against an even stronger foe in Rob Lucci. Fans remember Rob Lucci to be one of the biggest villains in the entirety of One Piece. Ideally, Luffy would be the one fighting him, however, since he had bigger fish to fry in Kizaru and Saturn, that meant that Zoro had to turn his attention to none other than Lucci.

Zoro’s Next Bounty After Egghead

Taking all things into consideration, Zoro will most certainly get a new bounty on Egghead Island. The only thing that Zoro needs to do here is to defeat Lucci and that in itself will be a big feat. The rest will need to be carried out by the other members of the Straw Hat Pirates. For instance, Luffy would have to get back up and defeat Saturn and the other members, such as Sanji, could take down a weakened Kizaru. This would then get rid of the vast majority of the power that the World Government forces have on their side. It must also be remembered that the Straw Hat Pirates have the Iron Giant to break through the siege and pave the way to escape.

The Straw Hat Pirates could then successfully manage to escape from Egghead Island, destroying the siege, defeating Saturn, Kizaru, Lucci, Kaku, and, at the same time, completely obliterating Egghead Island, all the while rescuing Vegapunk. This could be known as the Egghead Incident and an incident of such massive proportions would mean new bounties for the group. As for Luffy, his bounty could skyrocket to 4 billion berries, which would mean that Zoro would need a higher reward as well. For Zoro, any reward that is around 1.6 to 1.8 billion berries would make a lot of sense. Given that his first bounty was 60 million berries, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Oda made his reward around 1.6 billion berries.
