Webster defines a miracle as an exceptional event of special significance. The root word of miracle means wonderful. And when something fills us with wonder we call it a miracle.

Miracles do not speak to the language of your mind but of your soul! Miracles don’t just happen to you. God may be the whole which provides miracles but you create the space within yourself to receive it.

Many people don’t realize they have the ability to create their own miracles! No person creates a miracle by himself. To align ourselves with this ability we must become conscious of the Oneness in the Universe.

Each breath we take and each choice we make provide the threads that are interwoven into this tapestry of life. Many of you feel miracles happen out there…let’s discreate that belief and recognize that miracles are a God-given gift that you can easily tap into.

To align with this energy you must firmly ground yourself in the unwavering belief in the Power of your Source. Developing complete trust in God to always guide and protect you, is the first step to embracing this gift or ability.

When you work at this level, your spiritual faucet must be turned on at all times. At the first sign of a problem or crisis go into your mind and heart and declare, “I need a miracle.” Commanding, rather then pleading or bargaining is the catalyst for invoking a spiritual charge that creates miracles.

If you are looking for a one-of-kind supernatural event, then you are missing the significance of the power that is available to those who boldly decide to embrace miracles as a part of their daily existence.

God appreciates when we claim our gifts without hesitation or fear. Taking this pro-active stance will align your spirit with the energy making power that is always available to us in the Universe.

I learned this lesson when participating in someone else’s miracle. My journey unfolded when I sensed the distress of a long-time acquaintance who was upset over having to purchase a wheel chair for her husband. The woman was my hairdresser and we had a strictly service relationship. This day though I noticed something was seriously wrong with her. And she had to be gently probed to reveal to me her life path. This beautiful 40-something year old woman was anguished over having to purchase a wheelchair for her husband who suffered from early on-set Alzheimer’s. She had been working full-time when she reduced her hours to qualify for Medicare. The specialized wheelchair her husband needed wasn’t covered under those benefits. Suddenly when we were talking I heard myself offer to cover half of the $5000 cost. My initial reaction was to be perplexed with myself for making the overture, since I had my own bills to pay. Walking home that evening I heard the word, “Trust,” very distinctly.

The very next day the journey started to reveal itself… while having lunch with a friend I mentioned the woman’s dilemma. The miracle process started when my luncheon companion wrote a check for $250 to contribute to the chair.

As I mentioned the wheelchair to friends and family the amount needed was quickly raised without fanfare in less then a week. I dropped the checks off at the salon with a note simply asking “if she had praying for a miracle?” When she called me later that night on the phone I knew intuitively that the person on the end who didn’t say anything had to be her. Eventually when she was able to speak her voice filled tears she asked me “Who are all these people where did they money come from?” I explained that some of the checks were from my family and friends even the mail lady. Everyone wanted to contribute on her husband’s chair. Each person who donated received a handwritten note along with a picture of her husband in his new wheelchair.

A day after this, my company received the largest single order in our 15-year history! I knew that this synchronicity originated from my willingness to assist in the woman’s miracle.
