It’s evident that women have lost touch with their carnal ardor – that natural ability to mesmerize men that can only be achieved by blocking out societal pressures and influences and tuning into to their innate femininity.

Innate femininity as a concept is a bit off putting – I get that but I’m not referring to frilly dresses, talcum powder and pink on pink.

How is it that we – us women have gotten less skilled at seducing men over time rather than more skilled?

How come Cleopatra, Catherine the Great, Marie Antoinette and Marilyn Monroe could hypnotize the most powerful men in the world into being their pawns yet the women of today believe they have to underdress and put out to pique a man’s interest?

What these women realised that the women of today don’t is the bounds of their personal power. For some reason women have relinquished that power to men and men will continue to manipulate that for as long as we let them.

What Cleopatra realised from the tender age of 18 is that one of the major keys to seduction is always making a man believe he has something left to conquer. That means always keeping a mystique and never letting him think he has total claim of you.

Hollywood got it all wrong. Cleopatra was nothing like Elizabeth Taylor. She wasn’t beautiful at all. Cleopatra had low and thick eyebrows, a beak of a nose and thin lips.

So how did she seduce both Caesar and his nemesis Mark Antony? She used her brain – go figure!

Men love a woman’s physical form but what seduces them in the long term is our minds.

Guys adore an intelligent woman. See women today are so shy but we have the ability to intrigue a man just by holding a conversation with him. We can seduce a man by standing for something and having an opinion. I don’t mean about our Jimmy Choo collection or the details surrounding how our lives are falling apart. I mean by using our general knowledge on a range of different topics, the kind of topics that come up in a random conversation.

Finally, men love a woman’s playful energy. Yes we are playful. Occasionally we take it to heart or the wrong way but when a woman jokes with a man he finds it insatiable. Men love to see us happy and make us happy – it is hard wired into their DNA.

So now you know that you don’t have to get physical really fast with a man or wear risque clothing to seduce him. A man will respect you as much as you respect yourself. Which means being intelligent, having boundaries and being your own person.
