Chelsea Gardens Hotel Apartments – Comfort Redefined

I stayed in the Chelsea Gardens Hotel Apartments for a month when I was setting up my business in the Jebel Ali Free Zone. This was the most convenient place to stay in, considering the fact that it was so close to Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). Taking the Dubai Metro was the best way to get around and the metro station was just a 10 minute walk from the Chelsea Gardens Hotel Apartments. Getting a taxi was also very simple and I never had to wait for more than a few minutes to get one.

The staff at the hotel was attentive to my needs and indeed, very helpful. Rachel, the receptionist was extremely cooperative and hospitable; she made the check-in process quick. The prices were very reasonable compared to other similar 4 star apartment hotels. This one was sheer value for money.

Coming down to the rooms, which were notably spacious and had all the facilities such as a washer, dryer, refrigerator, kitchen supplies, microwave and some nice modern furniture. This made cooking and doing the laundry fairly simple and completely removed the hassle of getting the laundry done and finding a good restaurant for food. The room wasn’t gaudy in any way – decorated in neutral shades it was quite calming. The balcony overlooked the ‘Discovery Gardens’ which were aesthetically pleasing to look at each morning.

The hotel had an array of services and amenities making the stay as comfortable as possible. There was free wi-fi access in all the public areas of the hotel and access in the rooms for a minimal fee – exactly what I needed. Just across the street was the Geant hypermarket from where I purchased my daily groceries and they sold everything – from pin to piano. The ‘Ibn Battuta Shopping Mall’ with its historical charm and beautiful architecture was a short walk away; I was visiting the mall almost every day mainly for the food court which had a wide variety of restaurants and chains. I really loved the European and Asian cuisine served by the in-house restaurant ‘Wharf’ that I happened to try on multiple occasions.

The scrumptious breakfast buffet (which I may add, was included in the rate) was served fresh and hot every morning and the menu was different each day. The breakfast was sufficient enough that sometimes I would even skip lunch. The hotel had a 24 hour room service and the butlers were very prompt in their response to any request.

The warm touch, convenient location and affordable prices made it a great place for me to stay for an extended period of time. I stayed in the Chelsea Hotel Apartments on a number of occasions since then, and has become my favorite each and every time, be it a business visit or a family trip to Dubai.
