The CB3000 Chastity Device – A Review

The CB3000 is a very popular male chastity device and is a common choice for many couples experimenting with the male chastity lifestyle.

CB3000 – Design

The CB3000 is called a ‘trapped ball’ device, because it’s held in place by a polycarbonate ring that goes around the testicles and then locks to the penis tube with an ordinary padlock or a numbered plastic tag (which won’t prevent removal but will prevent it from being removed undetectably).

The tube points downwards and holds the penis between the testicles. The tube is also vented with slits and has a hole at the end, meaning it can be kept clean and is effectively designed for long-term wear.

The CB3000 comes as standard with several different-sized rings and spacers (they go between the ring and the locking point on the tube), so you can adapt to fit your own anatomy.

CB3000 – Comfort

Experiences differ widely, but many men report the CB3000 as being very comfortable even over long periods of time. There is always an initial “break in” period and you can expect a little soreness around the teste-ring and occasionally where the tube rests on top of the scrotum.

Some men get sore because the plastic ‘sticks’ to the skin, so ordinary pharmacy lube can help here.

In my husband’s experience, there were also some problems with the padlock causing slight injury to the skin of his penis where it bulged out of the cleaning slits on the tube. The can be overcome by using a smaller padlock.

CB3000 – Effectiveness

Experiences differ widely. Some men find the CB3000 effective for long-term wear as a serious make chastity device; others, including my husband, find them ineffective because they can masturbate to orgasm while wearing one (which obviates the whole point of the thing!).

Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to tell in advance how the CB3000 is going to suit your own circumstances, and it’s a case of ‘suck it and see’, if you’ll pardon the expression.

CB3000 – Security

As it’s made of plastic, the CB3000 is never going to be more than a fairly mild deterrent. Breaking out of it would be extremely easy, and some men can even pull out of the tube (there is an optional extra called ‘points of intrigue’ that make this incredibly painful, although, again, it would be easy to break them off).

CB3000 – Cost

Even though they are made of plastic, they are not cheap (which is one reason a man might be reluctant to break one to get it off). You should expect to pay around $150 for one (perhaps €120 in Europe). You can get very similar ones much cheaper, but beware – they are often cheap ‘knock offs’ imported from the East and they break easily!

CB3000 – Conclusion

A good starter device for most couples and one which you may even find suitable and effective for long-term wear. Many men don’t (like my husband) and ‘graduate’ to a much more expensive and secure steel device or full steel chastity belt.

One note of caution: if you are buying one, be realistic in your expectations. Most men seeking male chastity are seeking the serious, uncompromising control of a very secure device, and are often disappointed by the CB3000.

However, I still wouldn’t recommend you go straight for a more expensive metal device until you’re sure male chastity is something you really do want. As my husband can tell you, the reality is a lot different from the fantasy!

If you’re serious about male chastity and you’re SICK and TIRED of all the hype and ‘wannabes’, and you want sound, sane and serious information from a genuine 24/7 lifestyle couple, then…
