The POWER Of Quality Leadership

When one assumes a position of leadership, he must determine, whether he, merely wants to be, one – of – the – pack, or will assume, the responsibilities, duties, and serious nature, of performing, as a meaningful leader! Quality leaders assume the realm of leading, and must proceed, to respect, and properly use, the POWER, which comes with the title! With that in mind, this article will attempt to briefly consider, examine, and review, what this means and represents, and why it’s so important and relevant, using the mnemonic approach.

1. Priorities; planning; proceed; process: Before anyone should seek, to become a leader, he must possess worthwhile, valuable, relevant, inspiring, sustainable priorities, focused on those, he serves and represents, including their actual needs, as well as perceptions! Quality leaders train thoroughly, and seriously undergo, professionally designed, leadership training programs, so the level of their planning, focuses on both current needs, as well as providing sustainable solutions, and the best system, to proceed with! Only when one respects the process, and commits to being, the best, he can be, does he provide the level of leading, needed, and deserved, by his constituents, and organization.

2. Objectives; options; opinions; opportunities: Potential leaders should thoroughly consider, and examine their objectives, and whether, they are in sync with, the needs of his constituents, and the best interests of the organization. Examine, with an open – mind, the options and alternatives, and carefully determine, the best approaches, and articulate your opinions, towards the finest possible opportunities!

3. What; who; when; worthwhile: You aren’t leading effectively, until/ unless, you provide worthwhile leadership! To do so, one must be able to clearly determine what to do, who to include in his inner circle/ leadership team, and the appropriate timeline, so, he knows, when to take specific actions!

4. Empathy; energy; emphasis; enrich: The primary responsibility of every true leader, must be, to do, all he can, to enrich his organization, and constituents, in a relevant, sustainable manner! To do this, he must realize, how important it is, to listen effectively, and learn, the needs, priorities, goals and perceptions, of stakeholders, and consistently proceed, with a focus on genuine empathy! Great leaders place their emphasis on the best way to serve the common good, rather than self – interest, and/ or any personal agenda, and energize others, to commit to a greater degree, and become more involved!

5. Relevant; responsive; responsible: Responsible leadership must be based, on relevant, responsive actions, and providing the necessary directions, needed, to improve and enhance, both, the organization, and constituents.

Will you be able to properly use the POWER of quality leadership? Are you the right person, for this task?
