AdSense Plugins For WordPress

Monetizing your blog with Google AdSense is definitely not an easy job. Readers of your blog (most readers) are focused on the content or writing comments. And a high possibility is that they might not even visit your blog and just read your content through RSS. So if you decide to place ads on your blog, you need a good AdSense plugin which places the right ad at the right place.

The features we expect an AdSense Plugin to have are:

  1. Unlimited number of layouts for ads
  2. Easy integration using tags
  3. Single placements on a blog post

And of course no revenue share with the author of the plugin.

There are various AdSense plugins to help monetize your blog. Here we have listed the three we recommend (depending on your requirement):

1. AdSense Daemon

If you don’t need many features and functions than AdSense Daemon should be your choice – very simple and with basic important attributes. It has 7 basic pre-define display options.

2. AdSense Integrator

This plugin has been updated recently according to Google and AdSense updates. The plugin can also be used for other types of ad campaigns such as – LinkShare, ClickBank, Adpinion, Adroll, Yahoo!PN and others. Text or banner advertising campaigns can also be done using AdSense integrator. Some good features of the plugin are; easy embedding, high customization, no knowledge of PHP required, IP filtering, manual ad insertion and theme ad insertion. It has also been updated with new features such as: repetitions, Multilanguage translation and disabling (or enabling) all ads at once.

3. Quick AdSense

This plugin is really quick and flexible. Outstanding features such as – static placements for the entire website, custom placements using simple snippets and disabling ads for a single post are the highlight of this plugin. Other features include – a single settings page, inserting tags in the HTML mode of your editor, more space to accommodate up to ten different ad layouts and no unnecessary ads by the author (author just asks to place a link). One drawback I would like to mention is that the IP filter to show all alternative ads is missing. However, Quick AdSense beats all plugins and this drawback can be ignored for now (hopefully they will come with this feature soon).
