Thursday, December 14 is set to be a big day for Five Nights at Freddy’s fans, as that’s the day Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 launches for PlayStation VR2 headsets on PS5. Five Nights at Freddy’s is one of the most popular horror franchises in the entire world, and that’s largely thanks to the fact that it appeals to kids as well as adults.

Five Nights at Freddy’s has seemingly only become more popular as time has gone on. This year alone has seen the release of Five Nights at Freddy’s tabletop games and the commercially successful Five Nights at Freddy’s film adaptation, and soon FNaF fans will have a brand-new video game to play as well.

It was recently confirmed that Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 would release for PlayStation VR2 on Thursday, December 14. On that day, Five Nights at Freddy’s fans with a PS5 and PlayStation VR2 headset handy will have the chance to play dozens of new mini-games based on the franchise.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 Mini-Game Categories

  • Backstage
  • Fazcade
  • Food Prep
  • Staff Only
  • Ticket Booth

Backstage has players putting make-up on Roxanne Wolf, while the Fazcade features a variety of Chuck E. Cheese-style games for players to play. Staff Only has players performing medical procedures on unlucky customers, while Food Prep has players preparing food. And finally, Ticket Booth is a twisted log ride brought to life through the power of virtual reality.

On top of these mini-games, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 also gives players the chance to revisit areas from Five Nights at Freddy’s Sister Location, but in VR. This should prove to be one of the meatier experiences provided by Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 once the game launches on December 14. It will be interesting to see how fans react to the game once it’s finally available to the masses.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 will be PS5 exclusive at launch, so VR gamers on other platforms, like the Meta Quest line of headsets, will unfortunately be out of luck come December 14. However, when one considers just how much the original Help Wanted game was ported, it’s a safe bet that the sequel will eventually make its way to other platforms. For now, though, anyone that wants to play Help Wanted 2 on day one will need to acquire a PS5 console and PlayStation VR2 headset.
